I love being back and Rp'ing again. BUT !! What is this CD KEY is in use error I keep getting ? Was literally playing an hour ago. Logged out to make a new character and BAM. No go. And yes I rebooted my computer and am not anywhere near computer savvy. PLAIN ENGLISH baby steps answers would be awesome !!

Sorry didn't specify server. DIff is the one I can't login to. Switch my classic key to diff instead Classic is even worse than Diff lol. GoG's website isn't well done either for getting CD KEY stuff for us non-dev types. btw.

I cannot pick and choose. When I copied the Classic key, it entered the key on all three: Classic, Epic and Diff. I believe that you can contact support at GoG, and they will give you a new set. Try this instruction first: https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/articl ... ts-Diamond

For future reference. The GoG website has extremely vague descriptions on how to solve the CD-Key issue. 4 out of 6 people gave their "help" a thumbs down. Just sayin. Like I said earlier, I have ZERO experience working with technical issues on a PC and especially this issue, so any kind of nomenclature that pertains to these types of issues is seen as no help.

Noticed there was one key in use that wasn't common to all your accounts. I tried adding it as well. Please try again when you have a chance and see if the problem has cleared up.

If it hasn't cleared up, we'll have to PM it I suppose to try and work out what might be going wrong.

I may have jumped the gun there. Another player seems to be using the same key as you, and that would definitely cause conflicts when both of you are on at the same time. It might be better if you both get unique keys. I believe there was a post about a unique key generator (somewhere on this thread perhaps) - might be able to sort out your troubles that way.

Unfortunately, I couldn't locate the thread I was thinking of. I know you found the GoG reference Lliira posted unhelpful. This post though might help a little more.

Cool. It's a GoG thing. There website is a bit janky on the subject too. Thank you !! Sorry if the posts came off as rude. Kinda feels like discovering an old technology and reverse engineering it, lol. We will be in game soon.
