Lag bugs - skinning knife
The server is EXTREMELY laggy right now, and I went to skin an animal and was told "can only skin animal once" or something like that. This happened before. That skinning knife is now bugged and cannot be used again. There must be a local int set on it that was not cleared.

Rest. Resting fixes the skinning (and mining) bug(s).

It seems that many fighters discover that they cannot mine, suddenly. It is because they rarely rest. They do not have spells to study for, etc. But after some time, skinning and mining will not work, for an over-tired character.

*experienced this first-hand with his first crafter* Yes, make sure to rest, just because it's a game doesn't mean that your crafter can go for literal RL days without resting while smacking that rock >.<

My skinner/miner rests regularly - I have to keep my invis ring operable.
