Back in the game, yay!

For one of my characters server is refusing login with following message;

'Character class has spell learned twice'

character name is Leranith Quael

Is it possible to recover the issue?

Hmm, I not familiar with that bug. Perhaps Senectus can help.

Not sure of that specific issue being reported, but it's possible it's related to a hak file or other customization interfering in some way, so if you have haks and other overrides for other mods, it's possible that's contributing in some way.

Does the character have RDD levels? Can you log into the Epic strip server with it? Just trying to determine if it's something specific to the mod settings or something like a lost RDD level causing an issue.

If you can't login to epic strip and it's not an RDD, and you can't figure out what haks and other overrides you got active, you could try installing a clean version of nwn to a different folder and see if running from there encounters the same issue. If that's a pain, I can try making a copy of the character and see if I run into the same problem on my end.

I've tried removing all custom content, still getting the message..
No, the character doesn't have RDD levels.

I'll try making a copy of the char and see if I can reproduce the issue on my end. Will let you know what I find.

I can load the character in a local mod on my end without any issue, but I can't load it on Classic, even after having stripped all gear (worn gear, left in inventory) - I get the same error as you. It would seem the character file became corrupted somehow. I even tried clearing your quickslot bar to see if that somehow was related - it didn't help.

I'm not sure how to resolve it.

Strange situation.. I also checked on web but couldn't find anything related to this issue.

Would any character editing tool or sort fix it? Maybe we could delevel it to 1 and see what happens then?

Just another thought, would it be related to a racial spell (because it's a drow) also learned as a class spell?

The drow racial spell is done using an item with 1 use/day
