I swear half the time when I want to check the forums I click on my bookmark for nordock.net.

Sometimes. Very occasionally. someone will post there, on the temp forum.

I check in once or twice a year, but since the real forums were lost people rarely post there.

I doubt we will see it again.

Yes it's my understanding that backups were lost when the drive failed and it's unrecoverable. I'm not in direct contact with serverhost however so it's quite possible I misunderstood

My last message with SH was that the drive failed, but he had images of the drives but those were corrupt. The only option would be expensive, transplanting the platters from the dead drive to the same model harddrive with a good board and housing, then remounting them in the raid configuration he had before. I'd like a crack at the drive images, but he's never gotten back to me about getting them, if he even still has them.
