Aesthetics and Cloak Appearances!
Aesthetics and Cloak Appearances!
Hi guys!
I would love to have some way to change the cloak appearances, as a craft armour option or something like that. Would this take much to implement? What do you guys think? Is anyone else interested in this idea?
Cheers!

I think that'd be a cool thing to do. I've also wondered about having the thing you can use at the fair to change your helmet appearance put in the dye store in mulrok. there are a bunch of servers out there that let you change your armor appearance with the crafting menu, I'm sure getting the script from one of the developers wouldn't be too difficult.

You can change your helmet using the Craft Armor option as it stands - Lemme know if you need a helmet done, my mage has craft armor skillz.

I thought cloaks could already be done as well through the crafting menus. O.o

Re: Aesthetics and Cloak Appearances!
Sadly, cloaks don't appear to be hooked up through the standard crafting menu. So can't help you on the cloak, but there already is a helmet appearance changing machine in Kraag's Workshop (aka the epic store)... it doesn't cost xp to use, but it does cost a fair bit of gold. You just need to know the name of the style of helmet you want. It looks like a big furnace on the back wall of the store (it's labeled "Chest"). Put your helm in and close the door. It only works on helms as far as I know.

I always wondered what that "Chest" was for. o.O That must be the same scripting as the NPC at the Fair, because you have to know the helm style there, as well.
Cloaks...I am not so sure this can be easily added.

Not robes, but perhaps a different server.

I believe the DOH server used to have cloak modifications, but they were never able to implement it with the regular ones.Paul_Kettlebones wrote:Not robes, but perhaps a different server.
